About the july edition "Gotham"
Walking in Manhattan and admiring its old buildings that extend to the sky like artificial mountains is fascinating and a powerful experience. This edition I assign to these early masterpeices by creating a limited number of pots inspired by neo Gothic architecture. I have named it Gotham, which is one of many nicknames for this island in the Hudson River. It is at the same time a tribute to all the emigrating Swedes who left Gothenburg in  the beginning of the 20th century . New York was their first stop in the new world and these buildings was the first thing that met their eyes.
