" I vision two junipers that are standing together on a hillside a cold winters day. The feel of this pot is ancient, and it would highlight any tree standing in it, as a queen next to her king."

About the may edition 2019 - "Rectang”
"This month I have worked a lot with out leaning sides on my rectangular pots. It gives them a masculine aspect, it is the open, giving power, unlike the inward slope that is considered feminine, enclosing, embracing. It makes these pots suitable for feminine shaped trees with movement, but with masculine attributes such as strong nebari, rough stem and grooved bark. The colors and the glazes are still in the colors of the nordic spring. Yellow and red flowers, lush green grass under a clear blue, cloudless cold sky.
