  • Thors comment

" This design of pot I first made at the Yoshimura kiln in Tokoname back in 2017 and is clearly influenced by japanese design. It has stayed with me since then. This piece has a great depth, that a flower and fruite bearing tree needs. I vision white and pink coloured flowers but a red/purple colour would also go very well with this glaze."

    About the edition "Sweet”

"Usually at this time of year I release grey, brown, hay yellow and ocra coloured pots, because thats the colour you are surrounded by this time of the year and has an impact on the work done. But this time I decided to put up a party, and the frost gigants are not invited this time! I named it "Sweet" as candy, and I can imagine how some of them would taste and smell if I found them on a shelf in the local sweet shop. But it could have also been named "glazed by Carina Jern", since my wife stands behind some of the most spectacular glazing in this edition."
