Thors comment
"I really love how my wife Carina Jern glazed this pot to look like a snow covered mountain range. Unfortunatly it got stuck to the plate, so there is two chip (see photo) missing in the bottom. But it is solid and stands firmly. I thought of it as a kusamono or accent, but it can be used as a cascade as well."
About this edition
THOR EDITIONS is handmade, unique and numbered pots that are released once a month under a dedicated theme.
""The centerpiece of this edition is a sculpture of a Vätte, a small guardian that lives in the forest. Vätte can also mean Water in Swedish which is the theme I have focused on in this edition with pots in all a range of sizes and different blues and decorated with sculptures of water creatures. Spring is starting to arrive here in Sweden now and the melting snow is filling up the streams and rivers, so I find the theme very suitable. That my cabin sits on a mountain named Vättlefjäll/Watermountain makes it even better."
