Thors comment
"According to Norse mythology the cosmos was seen as a giant tree called Yggdrasil where all creatures lived on its branches. Although some took this literally, it was a parable of man's inner spiritual structure and path. Just as the branches seek to find the light, man also seeks his way forward. In him he has the god, man, troll, giant and elf. Yggdrasil should be viewed as a symbol for every mans strive towards the light."

THOR´S COMMENT ABOUT THE EDITION - "Skulls and Sculptured
"I have spent the latest month in the cool workshop while the sun has been blazing the grass brown in the fields during one of the hottest summer ever. Happy about being able to spend more time on each piece, I have filled this edition with sculptured pots with skulls and motifs from the Norse legends and sagas. Among them is not only my trademark skull designs but also the world tree Yggdrasil and the dragon snake Nidhögg, along with warrior heads and elves. Most of them unglazed in bone white, lava black and roof tile red Danish clay."
