"Personally, I've gotten a little tired of even and smooth glazes at the moment and instead wanted to create something with more depth and relief. It required an extra refiring in the kiln but it was totally worth it and I am very happy with the result."

” In the beginning of this month, when I was once again finding myself in the studio to start the work with the next edition, Sweden was struck by a heat wave. This made me spend more time inside four walls than normal at this time of year. Perhaps this influenced me in the decision to focus on straight lines, wich for me means a lack of lips and sculpture and has nothing to do with rulers. When it was time to glaze, I was hit by Covid, which made me work slower and more thoughtfully with the application and expression. This edition is therefore a sign of the times for me, and the need to move forward, straight up.”
