"This pot was the first one I started working with on this edition. I like Vietnamese bonsai pots that often have weight and are built like temples with a generous depth. It may happen that the design for this pot found its inspiration there. I wanted the decor to embody the whole idea of that life sprouts from death and decay. On a spiritual level, one must let go of one's former self in order to let one's new self be born."
