Thor Holvila 2401-08
Thors comment:
"This pot is intended as an accent or kusamono and therefore only have four smaller drainage holes in each corner. The expression is rough, earthy and organic."

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - Perkele
"I am Swedish on my mother's side and Finnish on my father's side and Thor is the name of the Scandinavian god of thunder. In Finland, his name is Perkele, which is a nickname for Ukko, which Christianity later made synonymous with the devil. Hence the Finnish profanity "Satana Perkele!" To me he is like Thor the god of the people and the farmers. He rides across the thundering sky and lets the rain fall on the harvest and brings forth life. This month I have therefore devoted myself to sculptured pots with Perkele in mind. What could be a better theme for pots to house a tree than the life-giving god?"
