Thors comment:

"When I was in Japan, I had to practice making dragons, when among other things I was given the task of restoring an old plaster mold that was stored in the attic of the Yoshimura kiln. They were obviously slimmer and more detailed, this is a Nordic version that moved underwater. I just love the glaze result on this piece. Just cant keep my eyes of it. I also love the round shape that gives you eight fronts to choose from."

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - "Sea Serpent"

"To live on the Swedish west coast, with the North Sea as a neighbour, is to be surrounded by blue sea and blue sky. On summer days like these, when you jump from the pink shimmering rocks into the salty endless sea, you can't help but be influenced by the blue vastness that is surrounding you. The Sea Serpent in north mythology (let´s not mention his real name) that is chasing its own tail in the depths of the sea has been the theme for this month. I remember how Thor the thundergod once set out to fish out the beast from the depth to interrupt its cycle, but failed. We learn that no one can stop the eternal movement of the universe. Ragnarök is not the end of times. It is the beginning of something new."
