Thors comment:

"I can't make an edition with a sea theme without featuring a pot with the shells you find along the seaweed-strewn sandy beaches inside the bays. I often use them in the kiln when I fire pots that have a glaze that is at risk of running. Afterwards, they crumble easily and there is no risk of the pot sticking to the shelf. However, the shells on this pot are made out of porcelain clay offcourse."

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - "Sea Serpent"

"To live on the Swedish west coast, with the North Sea as a neighbour, is to be surrounded by blue sea and blue sky. On summer days like these, when you jump from the pink shimmering rocks into the salty endless sea, you can't help but be influenced by the blue vastness that is surrounding you. The Sea Serpent in north mythology (let´s not mention his real name) that is chasing its own tail in the depths of the sea has been the theme for this month. I remember how Thor the thundergod once set out to fish out the beast from the depth to interrupt its cycle, but failed. We learn that no one can stop the eternal movement of the universe. Ragnarök is not the end of times. It is the beginning of something new."
