"These pots that limp and have a little excess weight here and there are sometimes the most difficult to make as you have to find a balance in the unbalanced. I started with a large lump of clay that I shaped with my fingers and a piece of board. That way, I can feel my way through the process, constantly adjusting. Now it remains to be seen whether I have succeeded or not?"

"To live on the Swedish west coast, with the North Sea as a neighbour, is to be surrounded by blue sea and blue sky. On summer days like these, when you jump from the pink shimmering rocks into the salty endless sea, you can't help but be influenced by the blue vastness that is surrounding you. The Sea Serpent in north mythology (let´s not mention his real name) that is chasing its own tail in the depths of the sea has been the theme for this month. I remember how Thor the thundergod once set out to fish out the beast from the depth to interrupt its cycle, but failed. We learn that no one can stop the eternal movement of the universe. Ragnarök is not the end of times. It is the beginning of something new."
