"Sometimes it's a joy and a challenge to make unassuming pots like this large, low rectangle, glazed in my trademark glaze "crackled turquoise". In Japan, this color reappears with most bonsai potters, but is then often referred to as "Oribe", which can also refer to green glazes."

"Summer is coming to an end and it is harvest time. Ripe apples on the trees, mushrooms and lingonberries in the forest. Currants, aronia, blackberries and plums in the garden. It is with both joy and sadness that one looks back at the bright times, but forwards to frost-bitten meadows and yellowing leaves. I hope this edition reflects this? In response to last month's unglazed, here comes a firework of colours."
