Thors comment:

"The Nordic dragon is different from the medieval European and Asian dragon. It is simply carved in to a stone, or a cliff. Or raised in wood. (see Norwegian stave churches) The dragon is a protector. Of a river, a promise, a bridge or a treasure in the deep waters.
This oval has been refired several times, since two of the feet came off completely during the first firing. My first reaction was to throw it in the bin, but then I thought, because of it´s beauty, that it was the right thing to try to save it. So I refired it again, with a glaze to attach the feet so they fused with the pot. I grinded of a bit and basically soaked everything in glaze to give it an extra protective layer. It all worked out fine and I am very happy to be able to offer it to you now."

* During the process, two of the wiring holes got covered with glaze at one end of the pot, (see photos) but the drainage hole should be sufficient enough to anchor your tree. It also have some cavitys at the feet but there is no risk of cracks due to frost.

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - "Hope of Spring

"We are in a very dark time and then it is important to keep up hope. The hope of brighter days, the hope of returning flowers, the hope of the passion and care for our plants, cultivating ourselves and the relationship with others. There is always light after darkness. I try to remind myself that we are only in shadow because of the movement of the celestial bodies. The sun has not stopped shining and light is the natural state and is as impossible to hold back, just as the water that seeks the ocean."
