"This rectangular pot with cut corners is made out of Swedish Fyle clay. The roughness of the clay gives it its rustic look. The glaze, which is glossy cola now, will dull over time and age beautifully with its patina. The feet are decorated with a seashell from the beach.”

"During the summer, the demand for larger pots is usually down and I get a chance to work on smaller pots. This month I gave myself a challenging theme to be inspired by what I find on the beach and in the fishing village. It is also a follow-up to last month's "On the rocks" theme, where the rocks and the sea set the tone. Say hello to the crab, the fish and his friend the sea urchin! I hope you smile, as I do, with this small collection of joyfull pots.”
