Thors comment:
"In my December edition I played with the idea of a pot that provided a hill to plant a forest on. This design was the one that I think turned out best. It was a little lower than the others and had a more “bridge-like” look. I’m looking forward to spring when I’ll plant a forest of Norwegian spruce in a similar model. This pot is unglazed with an ash effect on one corner.”

”We have past the darkest time of the year and are now slowly moving towards brighter times. Here in Sweden, King Frost still has a tight grip on nature and the bonsai is still under a thick layer of snow. But every day the mornings are coming earlier and the evenings are getting longer. Bit by bit we are entering spring when the trees come to life again and we have to start thinking about repotting.This edition is inspired by the colours of the winter season, white against evergreen under a blue sky, and visible red-orange tones in the bark of the sleeping conifers, whose branches hang heavy under the snow outdoors.”
