Thors comment:
"I have a philosophy about why the spaceship is an inspiration for some of my pots which is based on the fact that the designs of the Japanese pots are based on Buddhist philosophy and forms from temples which made me think about what we have in our culture that inspires hope and a journey into the unknown. Therefore this unique pot is sculpted like a cargo ship floating through space. But instead of glazing it white, which was the first thought, I gave it to my very talented wife Carina Jern who gave it a fantastic runny red intense glaze with streaks of blue-brown and pools of pink.”

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - 6” X 3”
”There's still snow outside, but I got a spring inspiration with this month's edition. Most of them have a flower/flower branch/pine branch theme in the decor, but my mind has tried to focus on the most desirable 6 inch wide, 3 inch deep pot. I have given myself the challenge with limitations, great for my creativity. Three colors, three tools, three brushstrokes etc. Limitations with clear borders gives you a free palette to work with.”
