Thors comment:
"This cascade pot is featured on this month's graphic monoprint, sketches of the month's theme. However, it didn't turn out as graphically white, black and red as I first had in mind. Instead, it became lichen-covered branches that seem to be hanging in a damp rain with red Ume flowers exploding against the yellowish background that is covered in a cracked glaze. These crazings will appear more clearly when the patina of time comes and give this pot an even more antique look. Whoever becomes the owner of this pot has four beautiful fronts to choose from. Definitely my favorite in this edition. Hence the price.”

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - ”Spring”
”Yellow, purple, green and pink spots have appeared in the brown dead grass of last year and flowers are sprouting from buds on bare branches and are outlined against the light blue sky. Our clocks have been changed to summer time and the days are long enough to start spending time with neighbors and friends outdoors. The Scandinavian spring is here and it is reflected in this edition. The graphic sheet I made contains my ideas. As you can see, a few pots made the journey from the desk to finished pieces.”
