Thors comment:
"I have been working a lot with graphics lately, as I have conducted two workshops with lino printing. This has given me a new dimension of glazing. With this pot, I have thought in several steps and several firings. Most often, potters choose to succeed in a single glaze firing, for both economic and practical reasons. I have now started to think differently and count on several firings so that I can work with layer upon layer. Here I have chosen to work with the contrasts between cobalt blue and porcelain white. A classic color combination with a unique motif.”

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - ”Spring”
”Yellow, purple, green and pink spots have appeared in the brown dead grass of last year and flowers are sprouting from buds on bare branches and are outlined against the light blue sky. Our clocks have been changed to summer time and the days are long enough to start spending time with neighbors and friends outdoors. The Scandinavian spring is here and it is reflected in this edition. The graphic sheet I made contains my ideas. As you can see, a few pots made the journey from the desk to finished pieces.”
