Thor Holvila 2603-10
Thors comment:
"Velvet violet is what I call this creamy purple glaze, with tones of oxblood and burgundy. Thickly applied, making it full of craters. I had an idea to have yellow and white flower petals that would melt into the glaze. They didn't, but instead cracked and floated on top. I covered them with a transparent glaze so that they would be frost-proof. I think I succeeded, but to be safe, I recommend keeping it frost-free.”

THOR ABOUT THE EDITION - ”Spring”
”Yellow, purple, green and pink spots have appeared in the brown dead grass of last year and flowers are sprouting from buds on bare branches and are outlined against the light blue sky. Our clocks have been changed to summer time and the days are long enough to start spending time with neighbors and friends outdoors. The Scandinavian spring is here and it is reflected in this edition. The graphic sheet I made contains my ideas. As you can see, a few pots made the journey from the desk to finished pieces.”
